San Tan Valley Smash-and-Grab Suspects Wanted by Pinal County Sheriff's Office

burglary

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) is actively seeking the public's assistance in locating suspects involved in a series of vehicle burglaries that took place on Sunday, August 27th, 2023, in the San Tan Valley area.

The suspects, believed to be a group of three individuals, are linked to several "smash-and-grab" incidents, where they forcefully broke into parked vehicles to steal valuables inside. Following the burglaries, they were recorded on store surveillance cameras attempting to use debit cards stolen during their spree.

Suspect Descriptions:

  1. Driver: The driver's description remains unknown.
  2. Suspect 2: Described as a young Black male, dressed entirely in black clothing.
  3. Suspect 3: Another young Black male, seen wearing white and grey clothing.

Vehicle Information:
The suspects are believed to be operating a newer model silver/grey Dodge Durango (pictured below). Interestingly, its reported Arizona license plate "SNWWYTE" is identified as stolen, raising concerns that the plate might have been changed post the burglaries to elude capture.

Residents and anyone with information about these suspects or their whereabouts are urged to contact the Pinal County Sheriff's Office directly at 520-866-5111. Authorities recommend not approaching the suspects if sighted but instead calling law enforcement immediately.

The San Tan Valley community is encouraged to remain vigilant, always lock their vehicles, and report any suspicious activity. PCSO hopes that with the combined efforts of the community and law enforcement, they can quickly apprehend these criminals and restore a sense of security to the residents of San Tan Valley.
